The bridges completely lost their function during 1878-1933. Although practically no original parts of the bridges can be observed, some relics have survived. The 2009 archaeological research uncovered some, and the rest probably lies under the current Nábřeží Street. Only a little information about the visual appearance of the bridges existed. The author of the article has recently focused on continuous searching and gathering of picture documentation, especially works of art and photographs of the place prior to 1933. They are now published. It is the aim to contribute to the wider awareness about this unique work that played a fundamental and irreplaceable role in the set of nearly 700 metres long bridges connecting originally separate villages Brandýs nad Labem and Stará Boleslav.
