AB The article deals with three medieval fortifications situated southwest of Čáslav (Kutná Hora District). Fortified seats engulfed by forests are easily identified in the landscape through the well-marked relics of the perimeter fortification walls. The purpose and dating of the localities follow their description. Detailed situation plans of the sites are included. Two of the fortifications can be interpreted as incomplete smaller castles. The third locality is a typical example of a fortified manor of the lower nobility.
